Robot - Super Solar Racing Car 671

$11.50

ZOOOOOOMM! Super Solar Racing Car has surprising speed. In fact, you might catch yourself saying, “Woo Wee that little sucker must be super charged with one of those fancy high performance engines.” If you did, in fact, think such a thought, you are partly correct. One source of such power is derived from the sun’s powerful rays of light. Thank goodness you can control this speedster from any dangerous mishaps by shielding its power source and immediately depressing its brakes to stop. Super Solar Racing Car is easy to assemble and demonstrates alternative energy principles. No batteries and tools required and less than a dozen parts to assemble.

 Age: 10+

Dimensions: 2.1x1.0x0.6; Solar panel output: 1.1v x 50mA; Motor: DC; Power Consumption: 1.2V x10mA

 Great toy! 4 Star Review

Posted by Eric on 3rd Aug 2012

Timely shipping, easy directions, and 20 minutes of my son reading directions and putting together by himself, hours of fun chasing the racer.

Great project to stimulate cause and action thinking in a scientific process. Look forward to building the other kits in the coming weeks.

 2. Fast and easy to build 5 Star Review

The car is fast and easy to build and it goes on the driveway and the road or any smooth surface. Get a few of these and race them it's even better.

 3. Fun and Educational 5 Star Review

This was fun to put together and the solar aspect definitely sends the right message

 4. Cute and it works! 4 Star Review

Posted by Sandra on 13th Jul 2010

This is a tiny cute car, it's easy to assemble and it's fun to run.

It needs direct sun to run. It's better to buy at least 2 to make a contest.

Their size is about that of a HotWheel(R) car.
